Launching of ‘Francesca: Isa, Dalawa, Sorpresa! (A Fabulous Celebration!)’

06.18.2017 by Leah // 1 Comment

I was tickled pink by the invitation of mother Ellen to grace the launching of her and her friends's first book project, the bilingual children's book "Francesca: Isa, Dalawa, Sorpresa! (A Fabulous Celebration!)" last Saturday, June 10. The launching was held at the most appropriate place I could think of: at the furniture and bedding section of Pottery Barn Kids, Central ... Channeling Madonna and the 80’s

06.02.2017 by Leah // 4 Comments

Hello, I'm back!   Guess what I did during my month-long absence from blogging? Clue: Our office celebrated its 80th founding anniversary last week, where we had activities lined up for both employees and our stakeholders.  The most anticipated activity was of course the Employees's Night which took place last Friday (May 26) at the PICC.   The theme was the 80's, and ... Nestle All-Purpose Cream Elevates Classic Recipes with #CreateWithCream

07.21.2016 by Leah // 2 Comments

I have not been writing lately about food I’ve created in our kitchen, but that doesn’t mean I have stopped cooking altogether.  It’s just that I’ve limited my cooking to those I know by heart already (most of them have been featured in the blog) so I wouldn’t have to write down the ingredients or cooking steps again. One recipe that never disappoints regardless of the many ... READ MORE

Sweet April showers. Do spring May flowers. - Thomas Tusser, 1557 I will forever remember May 2016 as the month where I celebrated a lot of milestones - at work mostly, but it's also my wedding anniversary month so I'm really overflowing with love and gratefulness! Let me share with you some of last month's highlights: A tour of the National Museum of the ... READ MORE

#MerryCremas2014 with Alaska Crema

12.23.2014 by Leah // Leave a Comment

Like in the past years, I shopped for Christmas gifts as early as September, and wrapped everything by November (well, almost!) so that when December kicked in, I only have to busy myself filling our weekend calendars with get-togethers, while experimenting in the kitchen for new dishes to serve during our family’s Christmas and New Year celebrations. So when Alaska invited ... READ MORE

All About You at EverydayMe.Com.Ph

09.30.2014 by Leah // Leave a Comment

I never thought I'll be a fan of e-zines (referring to small magazines and newsletters distributed online) until my cousin introduced me to the Flipboard app.  Since then, I've downloaded and bookmarked in both my mobile phone and laptop the following news magazines:  Rappler, BBC News and Time Magazine. Whereas my choices for news magazines are wide and varied, I find that ... READ MORE

Elegance is Timeless with American Standard’s Luxe and Style Collection

07.25.2014 by Leah // 2 Comments

I was invited by American Standard to the Luxe and Style Blogger Engagement last Saturday (July 19) and thanks to my angels - Ross and Mimi - I did not only make it to the event, but I had a super great time too! I am not new to the American Standard brand of toilet bowls and wash basin (or 'water closet', as they are collectively called) because I have personally ... READ MORE

I'm glad I invested in this Freshair 3 air and sur I'm glad I invested in this Freshair 3 air and surface purifier last year. It's the only air purifier in the market with proven technology to kill 99.96% of Airborne and 99.98% of Surface SARS-CoV-2 👍 I had it placed in the office so I don't need to bring anymore my portable UV sterilizer and portable plasma ion purifier. With Manila on extended GCQ and the vaccine roll-out still being finalized, we cannot afford to be complacent. Mas lalo pa dapat mag-ingat with various new strains coming out, too 😬 Safety should be our top priority 👍 @freshairpurifiers
Found these Muji-inspired (or should I say, rip-of Found these Muji-inspired (or should I say, rip-off) stackable organizers at Shopee 😁 I think they're 3x cheaper than Muji's and they look durable! Proudly Made in the Philippines pa 😜 #shopeeph #shopeefinds

Hi Daddy! Lapit na ang birthday mo, and you will c Hi Daddy! Lapit na ang birthday mo, and you will celebrate it in heaven na ☁️☁️☁️ Pero kasama mo pa rin kami magce-celebrate. Same as last year, we will celebrate it at home dahil may #covid_19 pa rin. You will remember that last year, yours is the first birthday we celebrated in quarantine. I just came from Baguio (for work) and someone from our group tested positive. Hindi na tayo nakapagpa-picture dahil puro nasa #covid_19 ang attention natin. We miss you, daddy! I hope you like your flowers today, mas marami na green leaves kaysa flowers. Just the way you like it. 💚💚 #theoriginalplantito
This Pecan Bread Pudding from @ecoookie is a disco This Pecan Bread Pudding from @ecoookie is a discovery of my foodie mom @minildade and it is my favorite #quarantinedessert so far. It taste of home, with warmth and love in every bite! 💕 It's great for breakfast or even as dessert. Best eaten warm with vanilla cream generously poured on top! 😋
I had my annual mammo exam yesterday at the new, b I had my annual mammo exam yesterday at the new, bigger and hotel-like Makati Medical Wellness Center at Ayala North Exchange. It's so spacious and so safe in there. I wore double masks (KN95 and fabric mask from @quins.ph) and my favorite scrub cap from @unisol.ph_ with buttons on both sides for the mask ear loops. It kept my ears from hurting and kept my hair intact too. Never mind if I look more like a nurse than a patient here 😁 Safety first over porma 😜
