Thought you couldn't get more French than the eclair and macaron on the menu?  Wait till you see their wide selection of Mariage Frères premium leaf teas.  Yes, Mariage Frères, as ... READ MORE

My Holiday Feast

01.02.2014 by Leah // 3 Comments

Happy New Year, dear readers! I just reported back to work today (after taking a 2-week holiday vacation) and was relieved to find my In-tray to be still visible (meaning, it's not swamped with memos and other paperworks).  I had no problems getting my work groove back because I've rested well during my vacation, and I think a lot of people are still on holiday break so ... Birthday High: Tea Time at TWG Tea Salon and Boutique

02.15.2013 by Leah // 2 Comments

One of my birthday wishes for this year is to finally experience tea time at TWG Tea Salon and Boutique in Greenbelt 5.    And I got my birthday wish last Saturday when AJ and I were able to score seats for us and my college close pal - and now AJ's Starwars buddy - Pia. We took up Pia's suggestion to try 5 tea varieties - a mix of black, green and fruit teas - and started ... READ MORE

A Sumptuous Birthday!

02.11.2013 by Leah // 6 Comments

I celebrated my _ _th birthday last week in a very quiet but food-filled way.    It fell on a weekday and I took the day off from work so I can relax, hear mass and spend a quiet dinner with my family (which turned out to be not-so-quiet!).    I chose the newly-opened Watami at Glorietta 5 for my birthday dinner because it's new and  for a fully serviced Japanese restaurant, ... #tbt Day trip to Oxford University in June 2019. I #tbt Day trip to Oxford University in June 2019. It rained that day so we bought a brolly in one of the shops we found, and continued our walking tour. I got the one with Oxford University logo to serve as souvenir as well 😁 Behind me is Christ Church, one of the famous Oxford colleges, that served as the "Great Hall" in many Harry Potter films. Unfortunately, it was closed to tourists that day. Still, it was an amazing day and such a memorable trip that I hope we can do again in not so far future🤞 #throwbackpost #whencanwetravelagain #england #Oxfordshire #oxforduniversity
