Food Post: Franco’s at Rockwell Powerplant

01.28.2014 by Leah //

AJ and I are big fans of Myron's Steak. My Holiday Feast

01.02.2014 by Leah //

Happy New Year, dear readers! I just reported back to work today (after taking a 2-week holiday vacation) and was relieved to find my In-tray to be still visible (meaning, it's not swamped with memos and other paperworks).  I had no problems getting my work groove back because I've rested well during my vacation, and I think a lot of people are still on holiday break so ... A P500 Meal at Buddy’s Pancit Lucban

03.21.2013 by Leah //

You might think that AJ and I are big spenders on food (what with the many food blogs I've put in here).   Think again.   You'll actually find that we love discovering great food at great prices.   Yes, cheap thrills hehe! One restaurant that has became our go-to place whenever we're craving for home-cooked meals but am too tired to cook is Buddy's Pancit Lucban at ... READ MORE

Chicken Sisig a la Mama Sita

08.18.2012 by Leah //

I found this at the Landmark supermarket and since AJ and I love sisig, we just have to try making one at home! Cooking your own sisig using Mama Sita's ready mix is so easy!  I used chicken meat (instead of pork) and it came out pretty good!   First thing you need to do is to boil the meat until it's cooked.   Then cut it into small pieces and fry  (you can also choose ... I used to love taking pics of food for #foodstagram but now that everything's in takeout boxes, nakakatamad mag-food styling hehe! Anyway, whether it's in fancy plate or takeout box - the food should still taste good. And this one definitely did not disappoint! The souffle pancakes were oh so good, and despite traveling in a box were really soft up to the last bite. Yumyum! #doitforthegram

It was so nice to finally see everyone face to face and have uninterrupted discussions that lasted past 8pm! I get to enjoy free coffee the whole day too. ☕️☕️☕️ Two things I find cute though: everyone now carries a disinfectant spray or alcohol (in every shape and brand), and wears a lanyard for their face mask 😄 #NCRFSDSummit
