Lovely Home Items from Etsy

10.13.2011 by Leah // 4 Comments

I find it “therapeutic” every time I window shop at Etsy.   There’s just so many lovely items to look at there, and unlike in real stores, here you won’t be pestered by salesladies who follow you anywhere you go hehe (does this annoy you, too?).

Among my current favorites  (again, for our home) are the following:

Peace x Fork You x Rock Own Silverware Coat Hooks (shop here!)

Shabby Chic White Picture Frames.  I love these!  (shop here!)

Colorful Flowers and Hummingbirds Pillow Cases (shop here!)

Vintage Mexican Maracas Salt and Pepper Shakers – really cool! (shop here!)

Our apartment has a low ceiling so am not sure if a chandelier would look good in it.   But I think this vinyl wall art decal by Chuck E. Byrd would be perfect for our dining area!

I am liking this one too, also by Chuck E. Byrd:

Lovely details in this ceramic soap dish which can be used as a serving tray too (shop here!):

Lastly, I’d love to have an accent pillow like this one from WordGarden.  Makes me feel like a queen!

Would anyone here know if these are available locally?    Would appreciate a tip or two!

Do annoying sales people bug me? Yesssssss! Sometimes even the vendors at craft fairs are annoyi9ng when they constantly want to talk at your rather than just allowed you to LOOK. I find myself buying more and more things online. And what better place to do so than Etsy? Of course, as an Etsy seller I’m a little biased, but STILL.

    Wonderful finds!

Daiso/Japan Home (and I think, even CD-R King) sells those black vinyl stickers. There’s a Multiply seller as well, but the price is a bit steeper.

Re shabby chic frames, I just buy old frames from surplus shops/ukays and repaint them. Would love that throwpillow though…

Hi Leah! Just stumbled on your blog after surfing for 101 grams of eye candy paper products hehe, but for the pillow, check out Domesticity Philippines. 🙂 Great site with lots of lovely home products. There are a couple of pillow designs that are similar to this.

I'm glad I invested in this Freshair 3 air and sur I'm glad I invested in this Freshair 3 air and surface purifier last year. It's the only air purifier in the market with proven technology to kill 99.96% of Airborne and 99.98% of Surface SARS-CoV-2 👍 I had it placed in the office so I don't need to bring anymore my portable UV sterilizer and portable plasma ion purifier. With Manila on extended GCQ and the vaccine roll-out still being finalized, we cannot afford to be complacent. Mas lalo pa dapat mag-ingat with various new strains coming out, too 😬 Safety should be our top priority 👍 @freshairpurifiers

Same as last year, we will celebrate it at home dahil may #covid_19 pa rin. You will remember that last year, yours is the first birthday we celebrated in quarantine. I just came from Baguio (for work) and someone from our group tested positive. Hindi na tayo nakapagpa-picture dahil puro nasa #covid_19 ang attention natin. We miss you, daddy! I hope you like your flowers today, mas marami na green leaves kaysa flowers. Just the way you like it. 💚💚 #theoriginalplantito
