Shopping (again!) for Pretty Papers at 101 Grams of {Eye} Candy

07.29.2013 by Leah //

This is not the first time I’ve shopped at 101 Grams of {Eye} Candy.   I placed my first order last May (which you saw here) and I loved them all.  So much so that I decided that for this Christmas, I’ll be sharing their wonderful paper products to my close friends.

I know Christmas is still 5 months away but yes, I do my Christmas shopping really early.   I’ve been like this for as long as I can remember.   I don’t shop in one go, though.   I have a shopping budget every week and I only buy items up to that amount.   I prepare my Christmas list as early as July and carry that with me always.

This self-imposed arrangement with myself has been very effective (for me) because by the time October rolls in, I’m almost 80% done with my Christmas list (without burning any of my credit cards) and then I can plan for the holiday festivities without much hassle.

Anyway, I digressed.

It took me a while to place my 2nd batch of orders to Ms. Pat Leano (owner of The Candy Shop) because while a lot of my friends love pretty papers,  choosing the design that will fit their personality proved to be challenging.  It’s a good thing the product catalog at The Candy Shop is very organized and it included pictures of their actual products.    After browsing through each page of the catalog again and again for a few days (sometimes I would just look at them because everything there is pretty hehe!), I finalized my orders, all in note cards.

My orders were delivered in less than a week’s time.  Again,  the packaging was cute!  I could feel that it was packaged with love talaga, sa tingin pa lang  =)

Every detail was pretty, and well thought-out.

My orders  =)   Each pack of paper note cards is tied with two-color string ribbons.  All I have to do is add a gift tag and they’re ready for distribution  =)

Ms. Pat also sent me samples of her other paper products, like the post cards, “For You” sticker labels, and the label tags which I’ve been eyeing for myself, too!

Thank you so much again, Ms. Pat!  You never fail to make me happy, not just with the beauty and quality of your paper products, but with your thoughtfulness as well   =)
