Club Balai Isabel

01.10.2013 by Leah // 2 Comments

This is another overdue post.   Was meaning to write about this really nice place we went to for our teambuilding activities in December last year.

We are about 70 in our group, and we found the perfect place in Club Balai Isabel.    This idyllic lakeside resort in Talisay, Batangas  is very accessible, just an hour-and-a-half drive from Manila.  It has the perfect indoor and outdoor facilities for events, retreats, recreational and teambuilding activities.

There were actually 2 other places we considered aside from Club Balai Isabel, but it was only this which was able to meet all of our requirements and as a bonus, gave us a sweeping view of the Taal Lake.

Here are some of the photos I was able to take during the ocular inspection we made some weeks before the actual teambuilding:

We were told that a lot of weddings have already taken place in this church.

We also sampled some food in their menu (since it’s packaged with our accommodation and use of function room), and we were not disappointed.   Of special mention are the pancit canton and pancit lomi that are absolute delights!

If you are looking for a venue to hold your milestone (especially weddings!) or corporate events,  weekend or adventure trips with your family and friends, or simply to relax from the hustle and bustle of city life,  then I do recommend Club Balai Isabel.    I can give very satisfactory ratings for their rooms, food and amenities.   The staff are also courteous and dependable.   All our meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were served on time.  I think there’s not one request from me (being the head organizer of our group) that they weren’t able to accommodate (or maybe I was being too forceful, haha!).   We all had a great time and pleasant stay there.

Club Balai Isabel is one of my favorite places. They are actually selling some units and I believe it can be a good investment. They will handle the maintenance of your unit for a minimal fee. In addition to this, you can opt for income sharing if you want your unit to be rented as well 🙂

That’s nice! Ganun na ata ang business model ngayon – capital and income sharing with investors ö
