All About Drinks

08.07.2012 by Leah //

Saw these at the Landmark Supermarket last weekend:

Pororo Milk Yogurt drinks! They come in strawberry and apple flavors =) My nephew Liam will love these.
Sunkist’s Angry Birds fruit juices.

AJ and I does our grocery, usually at the Landmark, every week.  We don’t mind the weekly travels there at all  because it’s near our place and near the churches we go to for Sunday mass.

Almost 1/3 of our weekly expenses are spent on drinks alone.   We take them as “baon” at work and I sometimes bring 2 kinds with me at work.   If you’re curious to know what they are, here are the permanent drink items in our grocery list:

Our “breakfast” drinks at the office: Alaska Yoghurt Milk Drink (we love the strawberry flavor most) and Magnolia’s Chocolait (can’t shake off our love for this one hehe!)
Magnolia’s Purefresh Cow’s Milk. For our coffee and tea.
Dewlands Apple Juice. We’re almost addicted to this. Not only is apple juice good for your health, it also tastes good! I can finish half of this carton in one sitting!
Lemons! AJ loves to make fresh lemonade once in a while, and we upcycle the lemon peels by letting it try under the sun and placing them in kitchen corners to ward off cockroaches and other insects.

What about you?  What are the permanent items in your grocery list?

Mana pala si Liam kay Ninang Tita e.. he loves Alaska too. Ever since you told me na it’s better than the other brand, yan na din buy ko, and Liam likes it better too. His fave is the apple flavor. wala pang ilang minutes ubos na ang isang malaking petra pack. He drinks 1 every morning.
And now that he goes to school, he brings with him Tipco superkid juices. He love the veggie flavor. 🙂
ay! isa pa pala, he likes Yakult too.. he will go to the ref and try to open it, and say: “yak! yak!”
    hahahahaha..

We were able to try the famous souffle pancakes an We were able to try the famous souffle pancakes and french toast of @grampancakesph without going out - thanks to @grabfoodph ! I used to love taking pics of food for #foodstagram but now that everything's in takeout boxes, nakakatamad mag-food styling hehe! Anyway, whether it's in fancy plate or takeout box - the food should still taste good. And this one definitely did not disappoint! The souffle pancakes were oh so good, and despite traveling in a box were really soft up to the last bite. Yumyum! #doitforthegram

Our first summit event under the new normal. It wa Our first summit event under the new normal. It was so nice to finally see everyone face to face and have uninterrupted discussions that lasted past 8pm! I get to enjoy free coffee the whole day too. ☕️☕️☕️ Two things I find cute though: everyone now carries a disinfectant spray or alcohol (in every shape and brand), and wears a lanyard for their face mask 😄 #NCRFSDSummit
