Liam, my nephew in Cebu, got these cool IKEA toys as gifts from his dad (my brother) who just came in from Singapore Thailand:
Will Liam become an accountant when he grows up? This pretty MULA Abacus ($9.99) will not only give him early concepts about colors and counting, it will help develop fine motor skills and logical thinking.
But I heard that Liam’s favorite right now is this MULA Bead roller coaster ($7.99) that reminds me of the makeshift roller coaster wire that we used to play when we were kids:
May I play with your toy too, Liam?
Mommies out there will love the MULA series from IKEA. Most toys from this selection are from solid wood (birch and beech) so you can be assured that they’re durable and are for keeps.
Here are some of the other toys from the MULA series that I think Liam (care of his daddy and mommy) will be collecting soon:
The IKEA toys are just so beautifully made. What more, their toys are made to both entertain and educate the child. I love most the wooden toys collection because they’re classic and would make a fine collection someday for your kids’ kids to also enjoy.
Now that Liam has his IKEA wooden toys to play with, the tablet PC can take a bit of a rest hehe.
