This is not the first time we’ve been to Wee Nam Kee. We love their Roasted Chicken to bits. That’s always our choice over their Hainanese chicken, which we first tried at their Ayala Triangle branch.
Last Sunday while strolling at Serendra, we saw a Wee Nam Kee restaurant across Conti’s. Thankfully, we were used to falling in line already at their Ayala Triangle branch so we’re ready to brave another long line here.
Surprisingly, the place still has vacant seats and we realized it was not yet dinner time. But heck, we’ll have our roasted chicken anytime so let’s order!
The waiting time was over in less than 5 minutes. Great service! And uber good roasted chicken!
AJ and I each had chicken rice, which is a perfect partner to your roasted chicken:
A barley drink, anyone? This is so good and reminds me of wintermelon!
Bird cages used as ceiling lamps. Cool and very oriental-looking.
A crowd of people has already lined up outside Wee Nam Kee by the time we went out. But now we know when is the best time to eat here hehe!
Wee Nam Kee has branches at Ayala Triangle and Serendra (at Bonifacio High Street).
