Bottega Veneta’s Hobo Bag: I want!

11.16.2011 by Leah //

I saw this braided leather hobo bag by Bottega Veneta and I wish I have the money to make it mine!   Red and pink are both happy colors and combined together, they spell double happiness!

I am loving the braided top handle, it complemented well the pink braided trims in the body of the bag.    And the extra big size allows you to put and bring in more things anywhere you go – perfect as a work bag.

And the pink braided trims?    Very pretty!    I think it’s the bag’s major selling point.

The design and execution are flawlessly good!

The bag will still stand out even if paired with an outfit of the same color:

* Sigh *  so lovely to look at, but so impossible to have haha!  I think I’m going to be on a lookout for an equally good hobo bag, with vibrant colors and cute handles!

Bottega Veneta’s Hobo Bag is vailable at Net-a-Porter.

Ei, whatever happened to UCB???? Buti napaalala mo it brought back memories of me saving up just for a benetton pencil case haha! I was in high school then, and I remember asking my mom for a Benetton bag too when we went to Duty Free first time =)

Wala na bang UCB dyan? Dito meron pa din, pero not as many as the other stores. Ewan ko ba kung malas lang ako, or baka mabigat yung bag ko. Hehe. If you look at the picture, dun sa part na nakapulupot sya sa braid, dun nasira yung handle nung sakin. 🙂 Per don’t let my experience dampen your spirit in getting this bag! Hehe.

There are still UCB stores here but I think their bags don’t sell that well na. There was a time that they selling mostly the “segue” brand – which Mai Mai Cojuangco helped conceptualized and designed bags for. I still miss the old Benetton products – those peppered with blue, green, red and yellow colors =)
