Dreaming of a Christmas Table Setting

10.09.2011 by Leah //

Now that we have completed prepping up our home for the holidays, I can  look the table setting arrangement for our first Christmas here at our first home.

One thing’s for sure though, our table cloth is going to be red (because it will be coming from the excess fabric of our newly-bought curtains).   Here are some pretty but workable ideas I found online:

A peppermint and gingerbread table setting.   Very festive-looking!  They worked amazingly well with the red floral table cloth that is going to be similar to ours.  Those peppermint dishes are just so lovely! I hope I could score some at Uniwide!

On the other hand, an all-white china would put balance on an already striking red table cloth.  The pretty white candles on vintage-looking and slim candle holders add a touch of elegance to this particular table setting:

A traditional red and green table setting would also be nice, with the green color adding warmth to this set-up:

I didn’t realize that working with a red table cloth could be difficult, with the limited color combinations available.

Moreover, these stunning Christmas table settings below are making me drool right now.  So much inspiration and ideas out there!

A White Shabby Chic Christmas (I love the crocheted table cloth!)

Our wedding colors (chocolate brown and pistachio green) turned into Christmas colors!  Happy!    This one is from Young House Love:

Lastly, a dominantly white table setting (with the red stripes serving as the accent) is clean, modern and just plain pretty.

Too many pretty choices!   Though I wonder where else can we place the noche buena?

It was so nice to finally see everyone face to face and have uninterrupted discussions that lasted past 8pm! I get to enjoy free coffee the whole day too. ☕️☕️☕️ Two things I find cute though: everyone now carries a disinfectant spray or alcohol (in every shape and brand), and wears a lanyard for their face mask 😄 #NCRFSDSummit
