THE BRIGHT SPOT

Supplier’s Rating: WINK (Written in Ink)

06.01.2011 by Leah //

I’ve written about our wedding invitations here.  I love how simple it looks.

I highly recommend Wink for budget brides out there who want professionally-made wedding invitations.    They have defined turn-around time which I really appreciated because we have a target date in distributing our wedding invitations.   Just make sure to give really specific instructions to avoid major corrections.

There’s just one thing that slightly disappointed me with Wink:  they do not give extra envelopes.   In our case, we ordered 80 sets of invitations and we got exactly 80 envelopes.    So you could just imagine how careful I was when I was doing the calligraphy over each envelope.   The problem surfaced when RSVP came too early for our other relatives who could not make it so their invitations were no longer distributed.   I decided to "recycle" the envelopes containing their invitations by pasting a whole cardboard of exactly the same color over their names.   Thankfully it didn’t look so bad, but still I wouldn’t want, if I had a choice.

I tried to email Wink to request for extra envelopes but I got no response from them.

Lesson learned for future Wink clients:   demand for extra envelopes (10 at the least).

SCORECARD:

Service: Satisfactory
Output:   Very Satisfactory
Price:   Very affordable (between P3,000 to P3,500)
