A Visit at Hazel Garcia’s Shop in Tutuban

04.16.2011 by Leah //

If you have been following my blog, you must know by now that we will get AJ’s barong from Hazel Garcia who has a shop in Tutuban.

Today we went at her shop located in the Cluster Building in Tutuban, to have AJ’s measurements taken together with those of his dad, kuya and nephew.

Thankfully we didn’t get lost at the Cluster Building and found her shop immediately.

Colorful gowns on display at Hazel Garcia’s shop.

It’s my second time to visit Hazel’s shop, the first one being last year when I first inquired about my wedding gown.   Although she didn’t get to do my gown, I got her still for my mom, ninang, and AJ’s mom’s dresses.

I am really thankful that she does barongs for gents also because we don’t want to look around Tutuban again for this.

There were many embroideries to choose from (sorry, I forgot to take pictures!) but AJ and I immediately zeroed on this one which is very classy and has really nice design:

We ordered for this one but with a chinese-collar.  It’s made of pina cocoon and the price???  Just P2,000!

We got pina jusi barongs for his dad, kuya (one of the groomsmen) and nephew (one of the bearers).  A  pina jusi barong costs P850 and the kid’s version is only P600.   Not bad!

We also picked AJ’s mom’s dress  today (she wasn’t with us earlier) but we will have to return it to Hazel again for some adjustments.

Overall, we had a very productive day today!   I really love the Divi-land!

Hazel Garcia’s shop is located at Pasilio K-16, Ground Floor, Cluster Building 2, Tutuban.
