The decision to get a back-up photographer was mine alone. But it did not take me long to convince AJ about it hehe.
You see, our wedding photo package is a gift from my brother who’s already a pro at photography. Together with his 3 friends, they will take care of documenting my wedding through pictures. I emphasized that we do not want a videographer during the wedding. The only video that will be shown is the live feed for the guests at the reception. Other than that, wala na.
This is because AJ and I loves still pictures more than moving ones. Just our personal preference ha but it’s good that both do not want videos so we did not have to disagree on this.
And since we will not pay for our photographers, I thought (just about last week) that maybe we should get a "paid" back-up also to sort of balance everything. I don’t mean to sound bad here but I feel that with both "paid" and "free" photographers roaming around our event, we are assured of quality wedding pictures. More photographers, more choices.
I asked for recommendations from my w@wie sisters today. Sis Jack threw in Von Lazaro‘s name and viola! That’s it! Why didn’t I thought of Von at all? I saw his works already. I even dream about being featured in the Carmen Lazaro Couture website , like the beautiful Kristine below:
