Customized Chocolate from Sophia’s Chocolat

03.23.2011 by Leah //

I read about Sophia’s Chocolat from w@w.   All feedbacks about their chocolate products were good, so AJ and I got them to do customized chocolates which we will give to our guests as prizes.

We initially wanted chocolate letters of "DL" like this (white for the "D" and brown for the "L"):

But after inquiring from Ms. Michelle Montiflor, proprietress of Sophia’s Chocolat, she told me that she will email to me a sample which she will create especially for us.

Here’s how it looked:

There’s a half-inch base made purely of white belgian chocolate, topped by letter blocks of D and L, made from both brown and white belgian chocolates.

We think it’s wonderful and way better than the chocolate letters which are prone to cracks.   At P65 / each,  it is really a good price given the thickness of the chocolate in it.  Another plus point is that we get both brown and white belgian chocolates in each package.

Here’s the top view of the sample.   Ms. Michelle will package each with plastic box and place our monogram as the gift tag.   Ain’t she great??

AJ loved it so much that instead of ordering only a few for the games’ prizes, we increased it to 20, so we can give some also to our principal sponsors, together with the towel cakes we designed and ordered online for them.

I hope our guests will like them!

I used to love taking pics of food for #foodstagram but now that everything's in takeout boxes, nakakatamad mag-food styling hehe! Anyway, whether it's in fancy plate or takeout box - the food should still taste good. And this one definitely did not disappoint! The souffle pancakes were oh so good, and despite traveling in a box were really soft up to the last bite. Yumyum! #doitforthegram
