Entourage Cards

03.22.2011 by Leah // 1 Comment

I am sharing with you the Entourage Cards I made last year for my female entourage (secondary sponsors only, no bridesmaids).

I made them out of different kinds of papers in the shades of pistachio green and ivory white.    I think they’re cute even in their simplest form.

The Entourage Card not only served as a “save-the-date” card for my secondary sponsors but also informed them of the infinity gown they’ll be wearing on our wedding.

You see, I requested my girls if they can shoulder half of the cost of their dresses, as a wedding gift to me.  I was surprised to know that they liked the idea and even help me look for the perfect dress that they will wear on my big day.

But it turned out I was the one who saw the perfect dress for them.   The infinity dress (multi-purpose dress) was something I found really pretty and functional, and after showing photos to my girls on how this dress can be transformed into different designs, we all decided that this is “it”.  I will post in another time the story behind this dress, and how my lovely secondary sponsors looked when they tried the dress on.

Back to my Entourage Cards, I prettified the envelope containing them by pasting a cut-out Lili and Nana wrapper as an inner flap.

The girls gave me warm feedback about these cards and am really happy that they liked it.   They said they appreciated most the efforts I put in these and they felt, with these simple cards, their importance in my wedding day.

Happy!

#throwback to June 2019 when we visited Windsor Ca #throwback to June 2019 when we visited Windsor Castle as part of our 9-day tour of UK and Scotland. We were also able to tour the many grand rooms inside the castle, and then walked to St. George's Chapel. Watching the funeral of Prince Philip yesterday made me reminisce about our UK trip. The Quire inside St. George Chapel (where the mass and lowering of the coffin were held) looked so wide on-screen. But actually, when I was there I was surprised to find that black-and-white checkered aisle so narrow and compact. I have no souvenir photos of me inside the Quire because taking photos is strictly prohibited. But there's a beautiful altar behind it where we offered candles and prayers. RIP Prince Philip 🙏 #England #windsorcastle
Watched too many 'Top Chef' episodes this week at Watched too many 'Top Chef' episodes this week at Netflix, so I was craving for duck tonight 😁 The Aburi Duck from @ikomaistreet is the perfect choice for me because I prefer the usual smoked duck but this one's half broiled only, so it's still a little pink but very tender, with very clean taste. I love the sauce and the brown Japanese rice that came with it. Will definitely order this again (and share na with @ajdeleon77😜)

I think he can sense it if I'm stressed, and needed a break from my work laptop. Anyway, get down na Catcaaat!

The Kalachuchi painting in the mug is really pretty and relaxing to look at, making this my favorite morning cup now. Thank you Ms. @hephepyeye for helping me get the mugs! The other one I gave to my mommy 😊
