Our Wedding Monogram

03.21.2011 by Leah //

Our wedding monogram was inspired by something I stumbled upon in the internet.   I was looking for something unique and yet, reflective of our colors and the beauty of damask design.

Here’s what I found:

I liked how the "D" and "L" were combined.   I wish for us to have this same monogram since AJ and I’s family names are the same and contains these same letters.

Then I learned about Ana Rotor of Ink Works from W@W and shoot her an email.   The monograms (2 kinds) will cost me only P500 with about 3 revisions.    It was a good deal!

Ana was very patient with me as I laid out the instructions through emails only.   She executed the designs well that we approved it immediately after the second revisions.

Here’s how our final monograms looked like:

The diamond-cut monogram:

The round-cut monogram:

I made my friends, family, and sisters at W@W choose the official monogram for us.  The diamond-cut one won, hands down hehe.

I will post in my journal soon the DIY projects where this monogram was incorporated.
