Supplier’s Review: Hizon’s Catering

08.16.2011 by Leah //

Among all our suppliers, Hizon's Catering is probably the one which gave me all the emotions I would feel as a bride:  excitement, jitters, stress, relief and happiness! Let me tell you the reasons why: Excitement.   Hizon's is one of our non-negotiable suppliers and we have decided early on during our wedding preparations that we will no longer try other caterers.   ... Wedding Pictures from Von Lazaro

08.02.2011 by Leah //

It's worth the wait! That's our reaction when we finally saw some of Von's pictures which we were able to download last weekend.  A CD full of his raw and edited shots will be picked up from his studio this week, but I am equally thrilled to share with you some of the pictures he has uploaded in advance: Our Rosary Wedding Cord by sis Eyzel. Our Wedding Bands from Matus ... READ MORE

Supplier’s Review: The Pergola

07.31.2011 by Leah //

Next to the Church, the reception venue is the more challenging and therefore more stressful item on a bride-and-groom's wedding list. I believe we actually spent more time looking for a venue than for the rest of our wedding suppliers. A lot of factors came into play during the decision-making process - like the location, size and amenities it offers. We initially ... READ MORE

07.13.2011 by Leah //

I got the second batch of pictures from Nat Lamano, our photographer friend who rendered his services free for our wedding (thanks so much, Nat!).You saw the first batch of his pictures here, taken at Hotel Celeste.    He got an eye for detail, and while his are post-processed pictures, he did not go over-the-top.   You know I hate it when I see ... Our Wedding’s Main Attraction: The Photo Wall!

06.15.2011 by Leah //

I've been bragging about our photo wall as early as March 2011 hehe.    This thing is the one I'm excited about, next to my gown.   I am both happy and proud to have people around me who loves me enough to help make this "wish list" or "nice-to-have" an actual masterpiece. The photo wall, as I've mentioned before, was a wedding gift from my sis-in-law, Juvvy.    She knew the ... READ MORE

We were able to try the famous souffle pancakes an We were able to try the famous souffle pancakes and french toast of @grampancakesph without going out - thanks to @grabfoodph ! I used to love taking pics of food for #foodstagram but now that everything's in takeout boxes, nakakatamad mag-food styling hehe! Anyway, whether it's in fancy plate or takeout box - the food should still taste good. And this one definitely did not disappoint! The souffle pancakes were oh so good, and despite traveling in a box were really soft up to the last bite. Yumyum! #doitforthegram

Our first summit event under the new normal. It wa Our first summit event under the new normal. It was so nice to finally see everyone face to face and have uninterrupted discussions that lasted past 8pm! I get to enjoy free coffee the whole day too. ☕️☕️☕️ Two things I find cute though: everyone now carries a disinfectant spray or alcohol (in every shape and brand), and wears a lanyard for their face mask 😄 #NCRFSDSummit
