DIY Gift Tags from Shopping Bags

12.28.2014 by Leah //

In case you didn't know, I have a penchant for keeping ribbons, shopping bags, paper bags and pretty gift wrapping papers so you can just imagine the stash I collected last Christmas.  I hate putting into waste reusable papers so I try to 'save' all that I can whenever I open gifts. (You can read about my past projects on re-used shopping and paper bags HERE and ... READ MORE

My Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Tea Party

11.30.2012 by Leah //

I had always wanted to host a tea party at home, and was all the more inspired after AJ treated me to an afternoon tea at Manila Peninsula last August.   But I was so busy at work and was doing all those traveling I just couldn't put my mind and time into it. But I found my perfect opportunity when my friend (and kumare) Denise sent me a message one day asking when are we ... READ MORE

Hello Kitty London x Marks and Spencer

11.07.2012 by Leah //

My happy purchase last weekend: It's a Hello Kitty body spray from Marks and Spencer!  A bit pricey at P395.00 for a scent that lasts for only half a day but who cares?  It has Hello Kitty and my favorite city in it and I just have to get it for my collection! Check out more of the Hello Kitty products exclusively made for Marks and Spencer here.   ... READ MORE

Butterfly Perfume

02.07.2012 by Leah //

I got to chose my birthday gift from AJ last weekend and it's none other than the Butterfly Eau de Toilette from Marks and Spencer!   I discovered it early this year and I knew, from the first time I smelled its fruity scent (that leaves a soft musk fragrance later on), that this is what I want for my birthday. It comes in a pretty round bottle in apple green shade, with a very ... READ MORE

My Modest Shoe Collection

01.21.2012 by Leah //

Have been meaning to write about my shoes.   I used to be very serious with my shoe collection that at one time I owned about 30 pairs.   But most of them were black pumps that I wear to the office.    I used to hoard Nine West, Enzo Angiolini and Aerosoles shoes especially when they're on sale. I soon realized that I own so many and of the same style that I decided to sell ... READ MORE

Sweet Gifts for Christmas

12.09.2011 by Leah //

Christmas is that time of the year where we receive the most number of C's - cookies, cakes, chocolates and candies.   All sweet food!  And we love receiving them, right? Unfortunately for me, I am not a sweet-tooth person but I do crave for one once in a while.    On the other hand, AJ loves sweets.   But I do appreciate good dessert food (as long as it's not sugary sweet) ... Sunday Shopping at SM

09.18.2011 by Leah //

I always look forward to the month of September not only because it is the  start of the countdown to Christmas, but because different establishments hold their last big sale for the year in this month. We were actually looking forward to checking out 3 sale events this week:   S&R's Members' Treat, the Book Fair at SMX and the Warehouse Sale of SM Homeworld at Megatrade ... READ MORE

We were able to try the famous souffle pancakes an We were able to try the famous souffle pancakes and french toast of @grampancakesph without going out - thanks to @grabfoodph ! I used to love taking pics of food for #foodstagram but now that everything's in takeout boxes, nakakatamad mag-food styling hehe! Anyway, whether it's in fancy plate or takeout box - the food should still taste good. And this one definitely did not disappoint! The souffle pancakes were oh so good, and despite traveling in a box were really soft up to the last bite. Yumyum! #doitforthegram

Our first summit event under the new normal. It wa Our first summit event under the new normal. It was so nice to finally see everyone face to face and have uninterrupted discussions that lasted past 8pm! I get to enjoy free coffee the whole day too. ☕️☕️☕️ Two things I find cute though: everyone now carries a disinfectant spray or alcohol (in every shape and brand), and wears a lanyard for their face mask 😄 #NCRFSDSummit
