Yesterday AJ and I met our friend, Chel, at Mr. Jones at Greenbelt 5 for an early dinner. It was a very nice meeting with Chel, who is already married with two wonderful sons, as she gave us really nice and well-meant advices about marriage and kids. She is one friend I really treasure because she’s very simple and her values are exceptional. Given all the busyness and complications of our lives, she is one person I know who really live out her faith and values – a trait that is kinda rare right now.
Chel will also be our secondary sponsor so she asked us about our wedding preps and how else she could help. We had an amusing talk about wedding jitters and the things that actually happen during the wedding.
As it was an early dinner (early because AJ slept the whole morning and will have his lunch just then), we ordered for our favorite Tapa and Garlic Overload. This is the dish we almost always order whenever we are at Mr. Jones.
Inside Mr. Jones. I love its interiors that has a 50’s Diner theme.
They have an All-Day Breakfast Menu that we oh-so-love! Especially the "Tapa & Garlic Overload" – good for two but priced at only P295!
Here is it – loaded with big-sliced garlic chips!
The beef is thinly-sliced, flavorful and sinful! (beware of the high uric acid after eating this super delicious tapa meal!)
Chel and I shared this dish while AJ ordered the Double-Smoked Bacon and Eggs (also another must-have!). We also ordered their clam and potato chowder soup which the 3 of us shared.
I wasn’t able to take pictures of our other orders because we immediately wolfed them down hehe! They’re all good, our plates were clean after!
Mr. Jones is located at Greenbelt 5 (it’s just across Seattles Best in Greenbelt 4). I highly recommend the place, for one-of-a-kind dining experience at a reasonable price.
