I thought my bridal shoes is going to be the least of my worries. That’s because I already have something to wear for my wedding – my something "old" because I bought this in 2009 over at eBay for only P2,500.00.
It’s a Nine West Fedaka Platform Slingback in satin green and brown. Perfect isn’t it?
It’s 4.5 inches tall (including the platform), but is comfortable to wear. It’s really lovely and you won’t find this in any local Nine West shop anymore.
So what seems to be the problem?
My feet. I’m flat-footed and although the shoes look good on me, when you take a close up picture of my feet you’ll see veins all over and the wide mid-part hehe! Plus, my very round-ish toes! Waah!
I already asked my sis-in-law if I can borrow her wedding shoes which she used 2 years ago. They’re also slingbacks but with covered toes. She said yes, wheew! I just have to find and fit them soon (they’re somewhere in our attic). I really hope they’ll fit! I remember they’re white, made of satin and with beads already. If they won’t fit nicely, I will have to hit the mall immediately after the holy week.
Shoe problem aside, I hope everyone will have a blessed and peaceful lenten week ahead. Let’s take this opportunity to reflect on the things we’ve done and pray for forgiveness, peace and more blessings (and a solemn wedding, my additional personal wish as a bride-to-be).
