Our Ricotta Cheese Pasta

08.22.2011 by Leah //

It was raining hard yesterday, and thankfully we have this ready-made Barilla Ricotta Cheese Pasta Sauce which we bought at SM the day before, for our lunch:

We only need to heat this in a microwave and viola, we have a ricotta cheese pasta ready!    We used our left-over penne pasta from last week (it’s amazing they still look fresh, in spite of being kept in the fridge for a week!):

The pasta sauce was so good (you will taste the pure tomatoes and ricotta cheese) that I forgot to take picture of my serving.   Here’s what left of my pasta lunch (sorry, my plate was messy!):

We added left-over pizzas (bought from Sbarro the day before) to complete our impromptu Italian meal.    I had my favorite mushroom pizza while AJ chose the one with Italian sausage:

Too bad we forgot to open our bottle of (cheap) wine.   It would have been perfectly Italian!

Barilla Ricotta Cheese Pasta Sauce is available at all SM supermarkets.  A bottle costs only P144.50 and is good for 3-4 persons (my estimate only, since we finished only 3/4 of the bottle and we ate twice our normal appetite!).
