Green Windows Dormitel

11.11.2012 by Leah //

I almost forgot to tell you about this amazing dormitel that we stayed in Davao last month.  I was there with my boss to attend a conference, and the organization which invited us sponsored our accommodation too.

It’s called a dormitel because it’s a hotel-type dormitory and therefore way cheaper than hotel rates.    Our place is called the Green Windows Dormitel and is situated at the center of Davao’s commercial area.

I don’t know why it’s called Green Windows when there are no windows in our room to begin with hehe.

But I’m not complaining.  This Deluxe Twin room is located at the Boutique Floor and has a rate of only P2,468 per night.   Check out the rates for the other rooms.  Totally cheap for a very clean room with comfortable sheets and mattress.

The bathroom is kinda small and has no complimentary soap and shampoo.  But it’s immaculately clean and that’s what matters to me most.

There’s also free wifi and uninterrupted cable TV in our room.  Coolness!

The dormitel rates does not include breakfast but there’s a canteen some floors down the building which does deliveries straight to your room, for a very minimal fee.

Nice ceiling lamp at the lobby area.   I like!

If you’re on a lookout for a budget hotel to stay in Davao, I highly recommend the Green Windows Dormitel for its location, price points and cleanliness.     Those traveling in groups may also take advantage of their Backpackers Promo which is only P188/head/night.

    Looks nice and clean. 🙂

Btw, would you mind sharing if there are any 5-star hotels in Davao? Just helping out my husband for his upcoming ocular inspection in Davao. Their team is looking for 5-star hotels in Davao, suited for presidents, secretaries, etc. Just wondering if you know any, since you’ve been to Davao often. 🙂 Will tell my husband to look out for the Durian pie.

Hi Heidi! You can choose between Waterfront Davao and Apo View Hotel =) They’re the only 5 start hotels in Davao that I know of =)

If your hubby will be organizing the event or conference for the upper management I would suggest Waterfront talaga, maganda super =)

        I hope this helps!
