My brother is on a house hunting mission and he got really interested with Avida Settings at Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It is an Ayala-owned property and development that boast of the following amenities:
- Clubhouse
- Swimming Pool
- Landscaped Playground
- Bike trails
- Basketball Court
- Jogging Path
- Open field areas
- Orchards
- Landscaped Entrance Gate with Guard House
- Concrete Perimeter Fence for a well-secured subdivision
- 24hrs Security and Village Management Support
- Overhead power and cable
- TV / telecommunications cabling
- Sewage Treatment Facility
- Architecturally-themed neighborhoods
The good thing about Avida Settings is that there are different sizes of standard units to choose from, so you can surely find something that will suit your budget.
We had our tripping some weeks ago and since it’s in Sta. Rosa, I was reminded of the Tagaytay trip AJ and I had some weeks ago.
We traveled from Makati so the trip was kinda long. But as you could see from the vicinity map below, a road will soon be available from Mamplasan Exit which will bring you straight to Avida Settings.
We were shown three (3) house units to view and well, evaluate hehe.
Celena is the smallest house unit available and costs between P2.3 – 3.0 M.
Here’s the actual unit of Celena and its pretty dining area (which, by the way, was designed and arranged by an interior decorator):
We found this unit a bit small for couples on the family way. But if it’ll be for a couple with no child, or for a retired couple – then this place is perfect.
Next we checked Thea, the biggest house and lot cut in the package, with price range of P3.5 to 5.0 M.
I like the interiors in Thea’s living room.
The dining room bears the same color motif of apple green and brown. It reminded me so much of our wedding motif hehe.
Our last stop was the Maia unit, which is actually what my brother was interested in, and a unit costs between P3.1 to 3.6 M.
As you would have noticed, all units have sliding glass mirrors, and bears the same colors. We were initially concerned about the sliding glass mirrors without grills as we thought that makes them less secure. But we were informed that we could have grills installed to secure the windows and its occupants inside, but the design and specifications must be approved by the developer (in this case, AvidaLand).
Here’s the living room of the Maia model unit. I am loving the white-and-brown combination for the sofa and throw pillows.
Here’s a view of the living room from the stairs that leads to the second floor:
The dining area:
I love these cupboards in the model unit’s kitchen! You won’t get this though, in the actual unit, so you have to hire an interior decorator to achieve this look and to have that custom-built cupboard.
Now let’s check the bedrooms! I dunno why I don’t have a picture of the master’s bedroom but here are the 2 smaller ones: for a baby boy and a baby girl:
Lovely homes, aren’t they?
The main consideration when getting a property at Avida Settings is the location. Most of their projects are in the south (Cavite and Sta. Rosa) so home buyers must bear in mind the cost-and-benefit of migrating their families there.
