Saw this at S&R the other day (sorry for the camera flash, I used my cellphone cam only:
According to Diets in Review:
The Hollywood Cookie Diet is easy. Simply eat four cookies a day, which replaces your breakfast and lunch, then eat a healthy dinner. So, eat a cookie for breakfast, a mid-morning snack, lunch and mid-afternoon snack. Each cookie is individually wrapped so you can eat on the go.
The Hollywood Cookie Diet claims that it works because it is based on caloric restriction. This is understandable since you are replacing meals with cookies. But the idea of replacing nearly all of your daily caloric intake with cookies seems to be a recipe only good for short term results.
So what’s with the Hollywood part? Reportedly, Kelly Clarkson has used the Hollywood Cookie Diet to slim down, and Mandy Moore has been quoted as saying “I love life, and I love my cookies!”
The cookies come in several flavors: Chocolate Chip, Lemon, Oatmeal Raisin, or a variety pack that includes all three.
I don’t subscribe to dieting thru meal replacements but I just thought this is quite interesting to share.
I used to be overweight myself during my early teens (my waistline was 32 inches, would you believe) but after cutting down on rice and meat, and doing the 6 o’clock diet for years, I got into my ideal weight.
The formula, I believe, is in the food you take. Avoid fatty food. Have only 3 square meals a day (avoid snacking in between) and listen to your body. If you already feel full, end your meal even if you think that blueberry cheesecake looks yummy. Control and discipline are still the best diet secret for me.
