Jo Malone’s Herb Garden

I’ve always thought that Jo Malone perfumes are too expensive, too overpriced that I never showed any interest in it until that fateful Sunday two weeks ago when I caught a whiff of perfume coming from their Greenbelt 5 boutique.

It was from their newest collection – the Herb Garden collection – and I was just curious to find out how herbs would smell as perfume/cologne.  So I let one of their SAs assist me and he gave me a whiff of all the scents inspired by an English herb garden, created by the Master Perfumer herself – Anne Flipo.

The Herb Garden collection comes in five (5) scents, all of which I found to be light, energizing and clean.

I was particularly drawn to the citrus-y, wake-me-up smell of Sorrel and Lemon Thyme, which has lemon as top note, sorrel as heart note and geranium as base note.  The citrus-y top note and flowery base note are perfect for summer, and I feel invigorated every time I put this on.

The Herb Garden collection is available in 30ml bottles only, priced at P3,670.00 each.  Pricey alright, but so worth it!

The signature black grosgrain ribbon tied around the perfume box.   So luxe!

The Jo Malone Boutique is located at the ground floor of Greenbelt 5 (across the big Zara store), Makati City.
