Another year is about to pass, a year that has been so big to me (due to a major career shift) and which has brought me to new heights. As you have probably noticed, I blogged less this year as I dealt with my now bigger role in our workplace.
I have to learn about “acceptance” in a big way; accept that I cannot solve every problem thrown my way. Even if I know how to get things done, I may still encounter bumps along the way and when I do, I should be “accepting” of the situation (instead of being sidetracked by it) and then move on to the next step or to Plan B.
I have to accept and deal with the differences of the people under me, the people I work with, and the people we service. The last one was the hardest, because I am not really a “people person” but I’m getting there.
I have to accept that sometimes decisions turn out to be mistakes, and when they do, I should not be scared about it but instead get up again, and get things done.
Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.
Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.
Make your mistakes, next year and forever.” – Neil Gaiman
Despite the ups and downs I experienced this year, one thing remained constant: the support of my family and my husband. I am also beyond grateful for the support and patience given to me by my teammates, who has to deal with a lot of my kakulitan.
As we welcome in the new year 2016, may we all find COURAGE in fulfilling our dreams and aspirations, going on adventures and be not afraid to try new things and even make mistakes.
Life isn’t smooth, but it’s the bumps that help us find out who we are. And it’s handling the bumps that gives us courage. – Sarah Mogan
I hope to be able to get more things done next year, especially for this little blog which continues to get queries and comments from readers. I promise to be more visible next year.
Thank you to everyone who were a part of my big 2015. May happy times and warm memories brighten your New Year!
Let’s all have a great year.
Cheers!

Pareho tayo, wishing for COURAGE this coming year. IDK but as I get older, parang lalo akong nagiging duwag. Perhaps because the stakes are higher and I have more to lose. 😮
I tagged you to answer the 2015 year-end survey on my blog (https://aggiedala.wordpress.com/2015/12/31/the-2015-year-end-survey/). That is, only if you have time. 😉 Congratulations on your promotion! 🙂
I think 2015 was a great year of blogging for you–there’s a bright new look, your budding jewelry business, and getting nominated for bloggys. 😉 Less content perhaps, but more revenue, ah este, more meaningful and inspiring posts. 😉 Keep them coming! Cheers! 🙂
