Bensani Charms

06.17.2014 by Leah //

I was reacquainted with my love with feng shui jewelry when I sat down with Grace (of Bensani Jewelry) over coffee and donuts last month, for a possible collaboration with The Bright Spot.

It was my post about feng shui jewelry that brought Grace and I together for this big project, although I knew her for quite some time already because I buy my feng shui charms and bracelets only from her shop at Greenhills.

She showed me some of their new pieces and I was amazed at how beautiful (and chunky) they have become now, and more expensive too hehe!

I know you’ll think that it’s the feng shui “thing” that drove their prices high, but it’s not.  It’s actually the cost of the precious and semi-precious stones that were used to create these lovely pieces.    Just look at Grace’s very own creations below and you’ll know what I mean:

P1200366b

P1200364b

P1200355b

P1200354b

P1200377b

Don’t you just love the medley of precious and non-precious stones here in rainbow bright colors?  Wearing them, you won’t only get the benefit of having healing (and lucky) charms very near you, but complements you’ll get surely with these pretty bracelets in your arms.

Here’s one I tried at the shop:

Unfortunately, the project didn’t push through.  I calculated the time and resources I will need to create and maintain an online design shop needed for this venture, and realized that it will badly affect my day job (which I value so much, as well).

With a sad heart, I begged off from the project.  But not without giving Grace some suggestions for her future design shop, like she should ‘market’ more her customized feng shui bracelets (like those you saw above) because she’s really good at these.  Doing so will also give her an edge over the many online sellers out there selling ready-made and similar-looking feng shui charms.

I also suggested that she name her business Bensani Charms.  Not only does it sound beautiful and exotic; it also pays homage to their family business which was built out of their genuine passion for this kind of product.   It’s only but fitting that her charm and feng shui bracelets be named after the people who started (and then nurtured) this business.

Good luck, Grace!  I wish you success in all your endeavors!

Ang gaganda! Setting aside the good vibes, I just love the burst of colours of each piece. A strand of colourful necklace or bracelet can create a different look in your outfit.

PS I’m so excited na #alamMoNaYun haha

    Dear Ms. Leah,

How I wish you can visit my shop again… I know you’re too occupied with your daily activities but I hope I can handover to you in person my token of gratitude. Thank You for sharing your ideas on how I can better reach out to people with the same passion like us in lucky charms and natural crystals.
