Vanille Cafe & Patisserie

11.02.2012 by Leah //

One of the places we frequent in Cebu is Vanille Cafe & Patisserie for their yummy cookies and chocolate bars. On our recent trip there, my sister-in law, Juvvy, introduced us to their delectable french macarons and now we’re hooked!

Pretty french macarons on display.  Only P40.00 each.

Our picks:  Tablea (brown), Peppermint (green) and French Lavender (purple).   We love them all!  Light and crisp meringue cookies with moist and lusciously-flavored buttercream!

Other sweet cravings from Vanille Cafe & Patisserie that are worth trying:

Chocolat. Dark chocolate mousse, dense chocolate cake a la maison and chocolate glaze (P95.00 each).
Belgian Truffles. Dark chocolate 56% ganache, shaped and rolled in cocoa powder (only P30.00 / piece).
Praline Sans Rival. Meringue with chopped cashews, french praline (caramelized nut paste) buttercream and candied nuts (P105.00 each)

I forgot to take pictures of their cookies and chocolate bars which are also best sellers.  We always take home some of their sugar-free cookies and dark chocolate bars.

The Vanille Patisserie kiosk at Ayala Center, Cebu (the coffee shop’s being renovated at that time).

The next time you find yourself in Cebu, go get some of these french macarons from Vanille Patisserie that are at par with those you’ll find in Manila.  Not only are they priced cheaper, their meringue cookies are also not as sweet as the others, which made me feel the goodness of the buttercream flavor more.   A total cloud 9 experience!
