Hot Dog + Pork and Beans Medley

10.06.2012 by Leah //

Our breakfast last Sunday:

My dad first made this recipe and we used to have this as breakfast back when I was still single.

So last Sunday, instead of making the usual hotdog and scrambled egg combo for breakfast, I pulled out a can of small pork and beans from the pantry to make my dad’s exact recipe.    I used my Saladmaster 10-inch sauce pan for this.

All you need to do is: Sauté chopped onions (1 bulb), then add in sliced hot dogs and sauté with the onions until cooked.  Add the pork and beans last and simmer for about 3 minutes.  Serve immediately.

This is best eaten with hot pandesal.

Try it!  And if you have kids, this is one perfect way to make them eat beans!  (heehee).

Have a great weekend, everyone!
