We have been looking forward to the opening of Uniqlo, the no.1 t-shirt retailer in Japan, at Mall of Asia last week after seeing the t-shirts on display a month before its actual opening. I even joined (but didn’t win) in their “Vote and Win” contest at Facebook hehe.
AJ and I even made plans of going to Uniqlo’s opening day last June 15, which we weren’t able to do so because I cannot and will not survive this long queue at Mall of Asia just to get inside (photo from Uniqlo’s facebook page).
People really queued up on its first day because of the discounts offered on all items (each selling at P590.00 from the regular price of P890/P790).
We finally checked it out last night and thankfully, there’s no more long queue to scare me. And guess what? We still found some items on sale!
This purple v-neck premium cotton short sleeve shirt for me, while the red one is for AJ. Both retails for P590 each but was on sale at P490 each!
I also bought some shirts for my favorite cousin who celebrated his birthday last week.
I love their paper bags.

…and Solid Snake at the other bag (this one goes to my cousin).
We could have brought more of the v-neck shirts in different colors (to take advantage of the discount) but decided to try it out with one shirt first for each of us.
We enjoyed our shopping experience at Uniqlo and we hope to go back again when there’s a sale. Yes, we think that this is not the first time Uniqlo will offer discounts on their items =)
