A Sweet Stay at The Bellevue

06.02.2012 by Leah //

AJ and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary by spending a night at The Bellevue Manila in Alabang.

We chose this place because of its location (the hotel is at the heart at the premier city in the South and is very near the mall area) and of the good feedbacks we’ve read online.   It also helped that they have a promo right now (good until June 30 only!), and we couldn’t resist that one either.

The hotel staff were all courteous and efficient.  Checking in was a breeze and we were immediately ushered to our room – which was very spacious for the 2 of us, was very clean and super cozy.

I love clean, white beds with luxuriously soft linens and sheets.

AJ and I brought some DVDs to watch and we were happy to find a DVD player ready.    I thought I’ll be using that little working table at the left (because of the hotel’s unlimited wifi) but watching movies was a much better option that night.   The Samsung LCD TV was big – perfect for a late night movie in bed!

Our complimentary drinks:  water, coffee and tea.

The bathroom may not be that stylish but immaculately clean, nonetheless.

We were given these cards for the welcome drinks and free use of the pool.

We checked out the pool as soon as we’re settled in our room.   The pool was located at the 3rd floor of the hotel, so it was surrounded by buildings instead of trees (building paparazzi alert!).

Our welcome drinks.

The hotel’s lounge area (just across the reception desk).

I love the”eyes” design of this lobby at the other part of the hotel.

The Bellevue Hotel provides free shuttle service to and from Alabang Town Center, the biggest shopping and entertainment center in the South.  The shuttle leaves every 30 minutes but since we had plans of staying out late, we were advised to just call the front desk when we already want to be driven back to the hotel.

We did just that and the hotel’s van was at the pick-up point at the agreed time.   Now that’s perfect service!

We saw these at our room when we got back.  Sweet.

The only hassle (very slight only) we had was the air conditioning unit in our room.   We had to adjust the temperature a number of times to get the desired coolness.

Our hotel package also included free buffet breakfast for 2 at the Cafe d’Asie.   Food were a-plenty!

A typical breakfast plate for me and AJ (hehe!).

I capped my breakfast/brunch with fruits…

..while AJ capped his with cereals and a big choco chips cupcake  =)

My morning call – black, strong coffee.

We were so full after breakfast but managed to take a dip in the pool after.   The weather was cool and it was only us and another family in the pool area.   Perfect!

The hotel granted our request for late check-out without any additional fee (yey!) so we watched another DVD movie and forgot about lunch hehe.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at The Bellevue Manila so much and already, we are planning on when and where to spend our next staycation.  =)   This was not only a perfect 1st wedding anniversary gift to ourselves, but a perfect get-away from all the stress at work, too!

The Bellevue Manila  is located at North Bridgeway, Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.   Contact details: (632)7718181 [phone], (632)7718282 [fax], [email protected] [email] and  www.thebellevue.com [website].
