Can you guess where did I find these cute, comical graphics?
The clue is in the chicken!
The graphics were from Max’s Restaurant – their place mat, exactly hehe. We were there a few weeks ago for lunch, and I was very amused with the little illustrations in their place mats I know I just have to take pictures of them (using my trusty W995 Sony Ericsson cellphone).
Aside from infusing nice and entertaining graphics in their place mats (a welcome change from the puzzle games that we normally see in others), Max’s Restaurant has adopted a modern take at food presentation. Just check out this medley of their best-selling desserts of ube creme decadence, buko pandan, leche flan and brownie with vanilla ice cream:
I was really impressed with the way Max’s Restaurant has embraced art in their food styling, restaurant interiors (too bad I wasn’t able to take pictures of the wall graphics) and even in tiny details like the place mats! I really enjoyed our last meal there better than in the past times I’m there – maybe because the wall graphics made everything look more alive and happy.
Check it out and don’t forget to order the dessert medley – it’s the best!
