Little Tokyo in Makati

02.03.2012 by Leah //

Did you know that there’s a little Tokyo at Pasong Tamo (now Chino Roces) in Makati?  It’s right beside Makati Cinema Square (MCS).  Amazing that in my more than 20 years in Makati, I’ve never checked this out.   I mean, we almost always frequent MCS because it’s near our place but we never bothered to check the Japanese restaurants lining up beside MCS.   It’s a good thing my good friend and “kumare”, Denise, suggested this place for our belated Christmas get-together.

We were so, so full after the meal and very, very satisfied with the food and all.   Our bill came at a little over P2,000 so at P500/head for authentic Japanese food, which is really affordable.

Mark this one in your “Must try” list now and do visit it soon!

The entrance to Little Tokyo:

Chinese lanterns light up the place.

The place was packed already at 7 in the evening.

It was so hard to choose which restaurant to try.  We decided on Oishinbo, and since it was already full inside, we opted for an al fresco dining:

What we ordered:     Uni sushi.

Takoyaki.

Bacon Asparagus.

Negima (chicken with leeks) and Pork

Gyozas

Katsudon
Chicken Teriyaki

Beef Teriyaki Bento

Little Tokyo is located at 2277 Pasong Tamo Corner Amorsolo Street, Makati.
