Kate Middleton’s Asprey London Pendant

08.11.2011 by Leah //

The Duchess was spotted wearing this Asprey London’s Round Pave Pendant Necklace at the recent celebration of Canada Day:

It reminds me of “evil eye” pendants, which are used as protective charms in the parts of the Middle East.   The Turkish Evil Eye Pendant is the more popular one, as it is said to protect the wearer from ills brought by envious people.

If the Duchess will ever be into evil eye pendants, then she might like this large one with diamonds, blue sapphires and green garnets from Polyvore.

It is set in 14k yellow gold.   It definitely looks more of a jewelry than an evil eye protector, so am not sure if this can protect her from the envy of many who will definitely copy this style from her hehe!
