You just have to try this!
Petit Fillet Mignon at Chefs’ Quarter (Megamall Atrium)
AJ and I almost always eat at Amici whenever we are at Megamall. Last week we decided to change routine and try out the restaurant just beside it, Chefs’ Quarter.
At first, you will get an impression that all food in their menu are pricey. Well, some are, and I almost dragged AJ away from the restaurant if not for this main course which caught my eyes: Petit Fillet Mignon – P575.00 (8 oz.).
So we gave it a try and my gad, it really is delicious! Our fillet mignon was well-done but it’s not sunog or bitter outside. I super love the sauce (it’s like eating morcon with wild mushrooms but it’s a tad better) and the crispy bacon wrapped in each slice. Oh, the sizes are not too small as you are wont to see when eating in a 5-star hotel. In fact, this order is good for sharing!
I finished off my cup of rice with 2 slices of these. The taste is just divine! We really felt like we were in some classy hotel with the food and also the ambiance of the place (sorry no pictures). Oh, also exceptional was the service you will get from their attendants. All were really mindful of the customers’ needs in fact they kept refilling our glass of water even if we did not ask for it.
I highly recommend this place and this steak selection for those on a lookout for a nice, cozy and a ‘bit’ formal dinner place……inside a mall =)
