AJ and I believe in piggy bank savings so we collect, up to this day, the 5-peso and 10-peso coins we get as change.
Last Saturday, we counted our first “conjugal” coin savings and collected P2,400, which we deposited later in the bank with our monthly savings =)
How about you? Do you still save up coins or keep a piggy bank for extra savings?

We have a pooh bear bank to house Atsushi’s 10yens and 1 yens and 5 yens that seems to be forever refillable in his pants. But they don’t have that much big value so we just stack them up and take some whenever we need loose change to buy drinks in the vending machine. It makes us happy to see pooh bear rich with coins though. Haha

Hehehe! By the way, the Itazura Coin Bank that is from Japan, I think, is becoming a hit here na =) It’s so cute but very expensive here! (around P900 to P1,200). =)

We also collect coins but we don’t get to deposit them to the bank. Pambayad lang ng mineral water pag nagpapadeliver at sa pambili ng kung anu-ano sa sari-sari store. 🙂

I do. I have a Bear bank for ten and five coins and another Pringles can bank for one peso coins.
Btw I was brought here by your article on “How I Shopped for My Insurance Plans”. Goodreads about VUL. I have been planning on getting one. And a manulife adviser just came last week to the office.
